Ahmed is an associate in our Private Capital practice.
Ahmed advises clients including private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, other financial sponsors and alternative capital providers on a range of transactions including acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments and co-investments, disposals and other corporate matters, in addition to capital markets transactions, such as initial public offerings.
Ahmed was also seconded to Modon Holding, an international real estate, hospitality and investment firm.

Representative transactions include:
Represented Development Partners International on its minority investment in an Egyptian private healthcare group, for $190 million.
Represented Modon Holding and its portfolio companies on a number of investments across various sectors.
Represented Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on its acquisition of 35.43% of Singapore-based commodity trader, Olam Agri Holdings, for $1.24 billion.
Represented Titan Wealth Holdings Limited in relation to their acquisition of AHR Group, an international financial planning and wealth management firm with multi-subsidiaries.
Represented EFG and FAB on the c. $575 million initial public offering and Abu Dhabi Exchange (ADX) listing of Alef Education.
Represented Spinneys on its $375 million initial public offering and listing on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) listing.
Represented Silal, on its acquisition of a majority stake in Al Bakrawe Holding Limited, one of the largest fruit and vegetables trading companies in the MENA region, for c. $45 million.
Represented Skoda Transportation in connection with its locomotive overhauling and rehabilitation agreement with the Egyptian National Railways.
Represented Leo Corp B.V. on the sale of a majority stake in its shipping services, Safina International B.V.
Represented Orascom Construction in the EGP 1.8 billion sale of a majority stake in its buildings chemicals subsidiary, MBCC group companies in Egypt and Algeria to Sika group.
Represented a syndicate of four leading international banks in connection with a sustainability linked international project financing provided to the Egyptian mining sector.
Represented Afreximbank in establishing a new complex in the New Administrative Capital in Egypt, which will include the new premises of Afreximbank, exhibition centre for the African Trade Organization, hotel and commercial area. The representation included the negotiations of the land purchase agreement from ACUD (the new administrative capital company) and the structure of the construction agreements.
Represented Paymob International, a leading regional electronic payment services provider, on its joint ventures to develop an electronic payment platform in each of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.
Represented Amazon on several corporate and commercial matters.
