Biography
Ariq advises sovereigns and private companies in international disputes across various arbitral forums. His experience also includes commercial litigation in US courts, including under the Securities Act and the Exchange Act. His pro bono practice encompasses matters of public international law and US constitutional rights.
Ariq was the Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Human Rights Journal and Executive Editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. He was also part of Harvard's Jessup moot court team, winning Best Memorial and Best Applicant.

A Canadian agri-food company in relation to its rights under a sales contract, governed by New York law and ICC dispute resolution provisions, in the context of changing U.S. tax and trade regulations.
An insurer in an ad hoc arbitration seated in London and applying New York law, arising from a coverage dispute for chemicals liabilities.
A Canadian utility in relation to its rights under a power purchase agreement, governed by New York law and AAA dispute resolution provisions.
A European construction company in relation to ongoing AAA and New York state court disputes arising from a contract for the rehabilitation of a bridge.
