Biography
Elizabeth Lien is an associate in our global M&A and Corporate practice based in London.
Elizabeth has advised both listed and unlisted clients on global mergers & acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, corporate governance and advisory matters across a broad range of sectors, with a particular focus on financial services.
Prior to joining White & Case, Elizabeth was an associate at a Magic Circle firm in London. Elizabeth is admitted to practice in Singapore and also has extensive M&A and corporate experience obtained in a leading law firm in Singapore.

Representation of 4finance on the acquisition of TBI Money from tbi Bank.
Representing Hargreaves Lansdown on the recommended final cash acquisition by a consortium of its entire issued share capital.*
Representing HSBC Continental Europe on:
- disposal of its French retail banking business to CCF, a subsidiary of My Money Group.*
- disposal of its French life insurance business to Matmut, French insurance group.*
Representing bp on disposal of a non-controlling stake in bp’s subsidiary that holds a 20% interest in the Trans Adriatic Pipeline to Apollo.*
Representing Temasek on disposal of its majority stake in PT Bank Danamon, a public listed bank in Indonesia.*
