Fatima Jamal is an associate in the Firm's Global Antitrust/Competition Practice in the Washington DC office. Her practice focuses on representing and advising clients in complex litigation matters, including under US antitrust laws and the US Anti-Terrorism Act, and in global antitrust merger clearance. Fatima also maintains an active pro bono practice, concentrating on reproductive rights advocacy.
Fatima graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, where she received Pro Bono Honors. At the University of Texas School of Law, Fatima successfully represented clients before hearing officers as part of the Title IX Advisor Program and was a member of the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, where she represented small businesses and a non-profit organization. Fatima also served as an Articles Editor on the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and co-founded a federal law-focused student organization.
Prior to law school, Fatima worked at a global risk and investigations firm, where she assisted clients navigating pre-transaction due diligence and regulatory requirements. She authored investigative due diligence reports, uncovering money laundering, sanctions risk, fraud, corruption, bribery, and other reputational risks, with a particular focus on the Middle East and North Africa.
