Biography
George Gryllos is a partner in the Firm's Global Antitrust Practice based in Brussels. He specializes in litigation before the EU Courts and focuses on providing advice and oversight in the most significant cases in the field of EU law, particularly competition law, EU digital regulation (DSA, DMA, AI Act), State aid and trade. He is part of the Firm's Global Technology Industry Group.
George has extensive experience across all aspects of EU litigation, spending more than two decades as a Legal Secretary ("Référendaire") at the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. His experience includes a wide range of EU law cases including antitrust, the internal market, external commercial relations, intellectual property, energy, State aid, chemicals, public procurement, concessions, taxation and restrictive measures.
He has worked on all types of cases before both EU courts, including direct actions, appeals and preliminary reference proceedings, which has endowed him with a unique perspective and a decisive advantage in navigating EU litigation.
