Overview

Hope Anderson is a Partner in the Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity and Commercial Litigation Practice in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Hope has extensive experience advising on all aspects of privacy and data protection law and regulation. A member of the Firm's Global Technology Industry Group, Hope has extensive experience in privacy and product counseling.

Clients benefit from Hope's knowledge in counseling and advising on data privacy and regulatory compliance matters. She regularly advises engineering and business teams on implementing protocols and controls in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and other data protection regulations, including expanding state privacy laws. Hope also advises on privacy by design, AR/VR, biometrics, AI, analytics and issues implicating e-commerce, consumer protection, marketing and advertising laws.

Prior to joining White & Case, Hope served as associate general counsel, privacy and product at a major technology company.
