Jeffrey Quinn

Jeff Quinn is a partner in White & Case's Global Tax Practice in Los Angeles. He advises financial institutions and corporate clients on complex US and cross-border tax matters, including debt issuances, securitizations, credit risk transfers, derivatives and other structured finance transactions.

Jeff counsels clients on the tax aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings and financing transactions, as well as the structuring of domestic and international operations. He regularly advises US-based companies on the tax implications of their non-US activities and supports non-US businesses in managing US tax exposure. He has deep experience structuring partnership and joint venture arrangements, including in complex cross-border transactions.

A trusted adviser to leading financial institutions, Jeff provides strategic tax planning and transaction support across a range of capital markets and structured finance transactions. His practice includes advising on securitizations, mortgage-related products, credit risk transfer transactions and other innovative financing structures.

Prior to joining White & Case, Jeff was Of Counsel at another international law firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch, following similar positions Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Earlier in his career, Jeff served in the US Department of Treasury's Office of Tax Policy.
