Overview

Jack is a litigator based in White & Case's Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on representing technology and social media companies in complex commercial disputes at the trial and appellate level. Jack is part of a team that advises Meta on a global basis, including on matters concerning privacy and data privacy (e.g., GDPR), intermediary liability, hate speech, defamation, intellectual property, and class actions. Jack is also part of a litigation team recently lauded by the American Lawyer for obtaining the first trade secret preliminary injunction against a competitor in the Northern District of California in nearly two years.

Jack is deeply committed to the Firm's pro bono efforts. He frequently represents non-profits and veterans in various stages of litigation and administrative proceedings. Jack also maintains an active amicus practice, appearing on behalf of former judges and non-profits in federal and state courts of appeals in cases concerning criminal justice reform, immigration, and civil rights. He is a leader in the Firm's LGBTQ+/Spectrum Affinity Group.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jack was an intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement. He also competed in various interscholastic moot court competitions. In 2017, the American College of Trial Lawyers awarded Jack the Hon. Lewis F. Powell Medallion for excellence in appellate advocacy.
