Biography
Lisa is an Associate in the Firm's Antitrust/Competition practice group.
Her practice covers a broad range of German and European competition law matters, with a particular focus on complex cross-border merger control proceedings and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) reviews across a variety of sectors. Lisa also advises clients in relation to cartel investigations by the Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission as well as internal investigations concerning potential competition law infringements, compliance matters, and competition litigation cases. Lisa regularly represents clients in court proceedings, including in cartel damage proceedings as well as other antitrust-related litigation.
Prior to joining White & Case, Lisa gathered substantial work experience as a trainee lawyer in the Cologne and Brussels office of a renowned US law firm, and at the European Commission.

ABB
Advised global technology company ABB on the acquisition of the PowerTech Converter business, a leading supplier of auxiliary power converter solutions for light rail vehicles and metros, from the PTC Group.
TotalEnergies
Advised TotalEnergies on its acquisition of Kyon Energy (Kyon), one of the leading developers of large-scale battery storage systems in Germany.
Fluxys
Advised Fluxys on the acquisition of Macquarie Asset Management's stake in Vier Gas Holding, which indirectly owns the entire share capital in Open Grid Europe, in relation to merger control and FDI matters.
Nestlé
Advised Nestlé on various transactions, inter alia the acquisition of a majority stake in Ankerkraut GmbH.
Family Holding
Advised one of the most well-known family holdings in Germany with a DAX-listed subsidiary as well as another major subsidiary in relation to an internal restructuring and successfully coordinated merger control notifications worldwide.
GlobalWafers
Advised GlobalWafers on antitrust and competition matters as well as foreign direct investment control aspects in relation to the voluntary public takeover offer to the shareholders of Siltronic AG.
Battery Ventures
Advised Battery Ventures, a major international private equity investor, on merger control and investment control questions and filings for various acquisitions, inter alia of steute Technologies GmbH & Co. KG (steute), a developer and manufacturer of switches, sensors and other products for medical and industrial applications, or of mobility start-up Vimcar.
Nordic Capital
Advised private equity investor Nordic Capital and several of its portfolio companies on merger control and investment control proceedings for several acquisitions, inter alia of Nordic Capital on the investment in Helmsauer Group and of Vivecti Group, an integrated and technology-supported healthcare provider, on its acquisition of Sana Einkauf & Logistik GmbH, the general purchasing organisation and procurement entity of Sana Kliniken AG.
CVC DIF
Advised CVC DIF on its acquisition of a 49 percent stake in BALANCE Erneuerbare Energien (BALANCE), the biogas subsidiary of Leipzig-based gas group VNG AG.
Norvestor IX SCSp
Advised Norvestor IX SCSp, a fund advised by Norvestor Advisory (Norvestor), on the acquisition of a majority stake in glueckkanja AG, a cloud managed services provider and Microsoft partner.
