Biography

Marcus is a partner in the Debt Finance Group in London.

Marcus has a particular focus on advising direct lenders, credit funds, and financial institutions on complex financing transactions. He has extensive experience acting on cross-border leveraged finance, high-yield transactions, and corporate lending, as well as restructurings and special situations across a range of sectors.

Marcus also advises clients on liability management exercises, including amend-and-extend transactions, covenant resets, drop-downs, uptiers, and other bespoke capital structure solutions.

Marcus has worked in both London and Hong Kong, and in 2022, he was seconded to J.P. Morgan, where he advised on several market-leading leveraged finance, corporate lending and structured lending transactions.
