Biography

Overview

Rob specialises in intellectual property disputes, including copyright, trade marks and design litigation, with work to date spanning a broad range of industry sectors. He has represented clients before the Court of Appeal, the High Court and the Intellectual Property Office.

Rob regularly provides advice on mitigating the intellectual property risks arising from the training and deployment of AI systems and has spent time on secondment to Google's DeepMind. He was also seconded to UBS in the wake of its high-profile merger with Credit Suisse.

A regular contributor to academic journals and industry publications, Rob is well versed across a range of intellectual property issues. He also takes a keen interest in pro bono and community investment work.

Prior to joining White & Case, Rob trained and worked as an associate at a Magic Circle firm in London.
