Biography
Shane is an Associate in White & Case's Tier 1 Project Development and Finance Group, advising lenders, borrowers, sponsors and government entities on the development and financing of major domestic and international energy and infrastructure projects.
Shane has experience in project finance, corporate and acquisition financings, private equity transactions and capital market deals.
Experience
Advising Foresight on its Australian Renewables Income Fund (ARIF) A$700 million portfolio debt refinancing.
Acting for the Lenders to Lightsource bp on the A$1 billion portfolio financing of Lightsource bp's Australian renewable energy assets.
Acting for the Lenders to Lightsource bp on the NZ$285 million project financing of the 171MWdc Glorit Solar Farm in New Zealand.
Acting for the Lenders to Palisade-managed Intera Renewables in connection with its acquisition of the 960MWh Summerfield Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in South Australia.
Acting for the Lenders to Tilt Renewables on its A$2.3 billion portfolio refinancing, comprising a A$1.4 billion revolving credit facility and A$850 million Asian institutional term loan.
Advising NSW Ports in respect of various refinancings of its acquisition debt.
Advising Smurfit Kappa Group on its bridge financing arranged by Citigroup for Smurfit Kappa's cross-border merger and combination with WestRock.*
