White & Case partners Julien Bocobza and Jared Muller, along with associates Raphael Papon and Soo Choi, spoke with IJGlobal as part of its Energy Transition Report 2025, examining how remote mining operations are expanding the use of green power solutions. Across a variety of locations, these operations are deploying solar, wind, hydropower, gas, electrification, and emerging nuclear technologies to support reliable and lower-carbon energy supply.

Successfully implementing these solutions often relies on creative approaches to funding. As noted in the article, "leveraging government grants, incentives, concessional loans, and other forms of innovative financing can be key to the success of a reliable green energy solution for any particular mining project."
