White & Case local partner Mathias Bogusch was recently quoted in Law360, discussing the impacts of a new German law which will transform how nearly 30,000 companies protect themselves from digital threats. A draft bill of the EU Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2) was approved in July 2025, with Mathia noting that the introduction of these laws will inevitably affect the executive boards of companies, saying that "while management can delegate tasks, overall responsibility remains clearly with them."
