Arun Birla and Jiten Tank join White & Case as partners in London

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Tax Practice with the addition of Arun Birla and Jiten Tank as partners in London.

Arun and Jiten have significant experience and expertise in transactional and tax structuring matters, particularly cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and finance, and a client base that includes institutional clients, family offices and asset managers, among others.

Arun is widely recognised as one of the leading tax lawyers in London, with significant experience advising clients on the tax aspects of a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, private funds, real estate-related matters, structured and asset finance, joint ventures, financing arrangements and restructurings. Arun joins White & Case from Paul Hastings, where he was co-chair of the international tax practice, and brings more than 25 years of experience.

Jiten has extensive experience advising asset managers and investment funds on the tax aspects of fund formation, portfolio investments and financing arrangements. He advises on complex cross-border transactions for global investors and asset managers and also has significant experience on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate and financial restructurings and tax aspects of financing transactions. Jiten joins White & Case from Paul Hastings, where he was a partner, and brings more than 15 years of experience.
