White & Case Advises Bit Digital, Inc. on Acquisition of Enovum Data Centers
1 min read
Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Bit Digital, Inc., a leading sustainable platform for digital assets and artificial intelligence infrastructure, on its acquisition of Enovum Data Centers, an owner, operator and developer of high-performance computing data centers.
Under the terms of the transaction, Bit Digital acquired Enovum's Montreal, Canada-based Tier 3 data center with 4 MWs of capacity, and its pipeline of development sites of more than 280 MWs, including more than 90 MWs currently under LOI. Bit Digital will also retain key employees from Enovum to ensure operational continuity of the existing site and development of the expansion pipeline, and fill a key gap in Bit Digital's capabilities.
This acquisition vertically integrates Bit Digital's HPC operations with an existing, fully operational Tier 3 data center in a major city. The addition of Enovum provides a strong pipeline of site expansion opportunities, enhances Bit Digital's competitive positioning in the marketplace, and enables the company to expand its service offerings.
The White & Case team was led by partner Prat Vallabhaneni (New York), and included partners Victoria Rosamond (New York) and Rachel Rodman (Washington, DC), and associate Zane Mitchell (New York).
