Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised E.ON SE on the issuance of two tranches of notes with an aggregate principal amount of €1.8 billion.
The first tranche has a principal amount of €800 million, a five-year term and a fixed coupon of 3.500%. E.ON intends to use the net proceeds from this issuance of notes for general corporate purposes. The second tranche has a principal amount of €1.0 billion, a twelve-year term and a fixed coupon of 3.875%. The tranche was issued as a green bond under the Green Bond Framework of E.ON SE.
The notes of both tranches were admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
