White & Case advises on EQT’s exit from Beijer Ref

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised EQT on the sale of non-listed A shares in Beijer Ref AB (publ) to Melker Schörling AB (MSAB), and Citi, DNB Carnegie, Jefferies and Mizuho Bank as managers in the subsequent sell down of EQT's remaining B shares in Beijer Ref through an accelerated book building process.

Following completion of the transactions, EQT will have fully exited and divested all its shares in Beijer Ref and MSAB will become the largest shareholder in Beijer Ref in terms of voting rights, holding 14.1 percent of the votes.

The closing of the sale of the A shares to MSAB is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
