White & Case Advises Eurogrid on €750 Million Debut Green Bond Issue

Global law firm White & Case LLP advised Eurogrid on its debut issue of a green bond with a total nominal value of €750 million.

The proceeds will be invested within Eurogrid's green bond framework, in a portfolio of selected projects and assets of 50Hertz Transmission GmbH and 50Hertz Offshore GmbH, which will be used to integrate offshore wind energy into the onshore transmission grid. Current examples of selected offshore projects include Ostwind 1 and Ostwind 2. 

The bonds, which have been admitted to trading in the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, have a maturity of 12 years and a fixed coupon of 1.113%.
