White & Case advises on issuance of US$6 billion SEC-registered notes by Republic of Poland

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised its long-standing client, the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland, represented by the Minister of Finance and Economy, on the issuance of US$6 billion triple-tranche notes registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under its shelf registration statement.
As part of the transaction, three tranches of bonds were issued: US$1 billion 4.625% bonds due 2031, US$2.5 billion 5.375% bonds due 2036 and US$2.5 billion 6.125% bonds due 2056.
The notes are listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Citi, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and Société Générale acted as joint bookrunners on the transaction.
