Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as joint global co-ordinators, HSBC Bank, Jefferies and BofA Securities as joint bookrunners and ING Bank as co-lead manager on the initial public offering (IPO) of Ithaca Energy Limited and its premium listing on the London Stock Exchange.
The offering raised a total of £262 million (exclusive of the over-allotment option), valuing the company at £2.5 billion and making the transaction the largest IPO on the London Stock Exchange so far this year.
Owned by Israeli-listed Delek Group, Ithaca Energy is one of the largest independent oil and gas companies with production and development activities in the UK Continental Shelf, ranking second by resources and third by production.
The White & Case team that advised on the transaction was led by partners Jonathan Parry, Daniel Turgel and Laura Sizemore, with support from counsel Bob Lehner and associates Andy Scott and Tarang Nagar.
