Global law firm White & Case has advised Orange on the signing of an exclusivity agreement with investment fund Verdoso for the proposed sale of Globecast, Orange's subsidiary dedicated to media services.
Verdoso's proposed acquisition would provide Globecast with a reference shareholder capable of supporting the company in the rollout of its next generation offers and strengthening its position in a market undergoing structural change.
Completion of the transaction remains subject to finalization of the information and consultation process with the company’s employee representatives. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
