White & Case advises SMBC and BNP Paribas on portfolio financing for OPDE’s renewable energy portfolio in Chile

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, as sole global coordinator, and together with BNP Paribas, each as joint bookrunner, joint lead arranger, initial lender and issuing bank, on a portfolio financing for OPDE's Chilean assets, which include a greenfield/construction phase 89 MW battery energy storage system located in the Region III, North of Copiapó, Chile; a utility-scale PV wind project with an approximate capacity of 50 MWs located near Rancagua, Chile; two utility-scale PV solar projects with an approximate combined capacity of 194 MWs located near Santiago, Chile and in Copiapó, Chile; and a portfolio composed of projects Llay Llay, Lingue and Los Magnolios, all located near Valparaiso, Chile.
