Overview

Claire is an Associate in the Firm's Global Intellectual Property (IP) practice, based in London. She advises on IP and IT aspects of M&A transactions and fundraising.  Clients are UK-based and international with most deals being cross-border. Her practice also includes drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Before joining White & Case, Claire gained experience in a top-tier, international Australian law firm's competition and regulatory group.  Prior, Claire worked in a national Australian firm's intellectual property, regulatory and technology team.

Claire's experience covers both transactional, commercial work as well as IP and commercial disputes and litigation.  This lends her a robust and well-rounded approach to commercial and transactional matters.

Nordic Capital portfolio company, Regnology, acquisition of Agile from Vermeg Compliance, 2025
Advised on the buy-side carve-out and acquisition of regulatory technology business Agile, from Vermeg Compliance. This involved complex data and IT system separation.

Sir Paul Marshall, acquisition of The Spectator, 2024
Advised Sir Paul Marshall / Old Queen Street Ventures (OQS Media) on a £100M acquisition of The Spectator media business from RedBird IMI (group backed by the United Arab Emirates and US investment firm, RedBird).

DNEG, VFX fundraising, 2024
Acted for DNEG, winner of 7 Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects (Inception, Dune, Intersetellar, Ex Machina, etc.), on an investment by United Al Saqer Group at a c. $2 billion valuation. DNEG leverages AI and recently developed its new 'Brahma' CGI technology business.

Acted for Antin on its c. £1.5 billion (reported) purchase of Portakabin, a UK and EU market leader in modular building infrastructure.

Advised on the acquisition of Telekom Srbija's macro tower portfolio in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina by an Actis-led consortium for up to €500 million.

Acted for SE on the carve-out and sale for around $1b billion to a strategic Taiwan-based buyer of its Telemecanique Sensors worldwide business, including carve-out workstreams on Commercial Contracts and IT.

Primo Water, sale of European business to Culligan, 2023
Advised on c. $5.8 million carve-out and sale of Primo's European business excluding the UK, Portugal and Israel.
