Overview

Davin Paley-Zimble is an International Trade associate in White & Case's Washington, DC office. His practice focuses export controls and sanctions. Davin has experience advising clients on compliance with US sanctions and export control laws and regulations administered by the US Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the US Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), and the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS).

Davin also focuses on global foreign direct investment (FDI) and US National Security regulations affecting cross-border transactions, including Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

Prior to joining White & Case, Davin worked as a Global Trade Advisory Senior Consultant for a Big Four accounting firm, where he advised on export control compliance for M&A, technology implementation and data management and offshoring for clients in the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, AI/ML and defence industries.
