Overview

Stefan's practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity deals, as well as joint ventures and capital market transactions.

Drawing on his broad domestic and international experience, Stefan helps clients to navigate complex cross-border transactions, including both public and privately negotiated takeovers.

International both in outlook and approach, Stefan has played a leading role in a number of the Firm's legal teams, seamlessly coordinating advice across multiple offices and territories.

Representing corporate clients, investors and private equity firms, Stefan also offers strategic advice on a range of general corporate law issues, as well as technically complicated capital market, stock exchange and other regulatory matters.

Advised Merck KGaA on the 2015 agreement by its Life Science business, Merck Millipore, to acquire the worldwide rights to an innovative protein detection technology from Singulex, the 2015 disposition of its drug discovery and developments solutions business to Eurofins SA, as well as previously on the US$7.2 billion acquisition of Millipore Corporation and the €4.9 billion disposal of its worldwide generics business to Mylan Inc.
