Tom is an associate in White & Case's Data Privacy Team in London, advising a range of clients in the UK, EU and US on all aspects of UK and EU privacy and data protection laws. Tom has meaningful experience working on issues falling under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the GDPR's UK equivalent (UK GDPR), and the Data Protection Act 2018, amongst other rules and regulations.
Tom joined White & Case as a trainee, and qualified in 2022, gaining experience in the Firm’s Debt Finance, International Arbitration, Commercial Litigation and Data Privacy Groups in London.
Ongoing advice to Meta (and its core businesses, including Facebook) regarding compliance matters in relation to social network activities in the EU and UK.
Advised numerous international businesses on data protection due diligence and negotiation of appropriate data protection contractual provisions in relation to corporate sales and acquisitions.
