Antoine Mercier, Sarah Fleury and Romain Guénin join White & Case as partners in Paris

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, Global Real Estate Industry Group and Global Private Capital Industry Group with the addition of Antoine Mercier, Sarah Fleury and Romain Guénin as partners in Paris.

Antoine is an experienced real estate lawyer who advises clients on all aspects of the real estate investment life cycle, spanning structuring, partnership agreements, acquisitions, construction and development, asset management and disposals across a wide range of assets, in particular operational asset classes including hotels, tourism and leisure, logistics, retail, senior living, student accommodation, self-storage and data centers. He has led cross-border transactions involving large portfolios of operational assets for more than 25 years and also has experience in ESG matters, particularly related to renewable energy facilities and infrastructure.
Sarah is an experienced real estate M&A lawyer who advises multinational clients on both cross-border and domestic transactions, including the structuring, acquisition and disposal of portfolios of assets and companies holding real estate assets, and real estate joint ventures in all asset classes – hospitality and leisure, offices, logistics, serviced residence, senior housing, student housing, clinics, life sciences and data centers. She also advises clients on commercial lease agreements, asset management and construction matters and the issues that can arise from these situations. In addition, Sarah serves as a Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute.
Romain focuses on real estate finance and structured finance. He advises lenders and borrowers on a broad range of investments and financing matters, in particular related to the acquisition and development of real estate assets in a variety of sectors such as logistics, offices, hospitality, serviced residences, sports infrastructure and self-storage. Romain also has experience in loan restructuring and special servicing, including distressed portfolio mortgage financings.
Antoine, Sarah and Romain join White & Case from DLA Piper, where they were partners, and bring respectively more than 25 years, 20 years and 15 years of experience.
