Latin Lawyer magazine named three transactions totaling close to US$70 billion on which global law firm White & Case LLP advised among the "Deals of the Year" in its 15th annual Deal of the Year Awards. Latin Lawyer's editorial team selected the winners from among the most innovative transactions that closed in 2020.

According to Latin Lawyer, "The lawyers involved in these transactions performed extraordinary work and the impact and significance of the deals go well beyond the negotiation table."

"We owe every award and nomination we earn in Latin America to the opportunities to shine that our clients bring to us across the region," said Carlos Viana, head of the White & Case Latin America Interest Group. "Our diverse and resilient clients continued in 2020 to propel us to innovate and lead, in many cases in the toughest of circumstances; we are decidedly grateful for their trust and confidence in us during these trying times."
