Global law firm White & Case LLP has been named "Private Equity Team of the Year" at the Law Middle East Awards 2025, which "celebrate the firms and individuals driving meaningful impact across the region's legal industry."

This award recognizes the Firm's work, including advising Dream Games, the developer and publisher of globally renowned mobile games Royal Match and Royal Kingdom, on a strategic investment from CVC. The transaction establishes a strategic partnership with CVC, a leading global alternative asset management firm, as Dream Games' sole equity partner and provides liquidity to its initial venture capital partners.

"We're thrilled to be recognized as Private Equity Team of the Year. This award celebrates the dedication, collaboration and hard work of our team in managing complex transactions and delivering outstanding results for our clients," said Marcus Booth, partner and co-lead of the Firm's financial sponsor practice in the Middle East and North Africa.

"It's a privilege to help shape some of the region's most impactful deals. We thank our clients for their trust and partnership in making this achievement possible," added Steve Worthington, partner and co-lead of the Firm's financial sponsor practice in the Middle East and North Africa.
