Overview

Jan is the head of the Firm's Nordic Private Equity group and part of the Global M&A team. Jan has more than 20 years of experience in the Nordic private equity and M&A market and has advised on many complex deals in the region. Jan works with leading Nordic and European private equity firms and their portfolio companies as well as international corporates.

Prior joining White & Case Jan was partner at another Swedish law firm.

Representative transactions include advising/representing:

EQT on the public cash offer to the shareholders of Karo Pharma.

Leading alternative investment firm EQT on the sale of Sweden-headquartered Piab Group AB, a global technology pioneer in industrial automation and robot components, to Patricia Industries for an enterprise value of SEK 6,950 million (around €661 million).

EQT on the merger of the data communication operations of DGC and IP-Only to form IP-Only Enterprise.

EQT in the acquisition of Candidator Holding AB, a Swedish managed IT services provider with capabilities for full IT outsourcing in Sweden and Norway.

Alder Fund I AB, investing primarily in established Nordic companies within the sustainable technology sector, in the sale of Jernforsen Holding AB, that develops and manufactures biofuel plants for e.g. the wood processing industries and energy suppliers.

Portfolio company Candidator DGC in the acquisition of Alliero Services AB.

The Brammer Group, owned by Advent, in the divestment of Brammer Sweden AB's and Brammer Trollhättan AB's maintenance, repair and overhaul business to Momentum Industrial AB.
