Global law firm White & Case LLP was named Saudi Arabia “Firm of the Year” at IFLR’s 2026 Middle East Awards. The Firm also won “Team of the Year” for our Project Development & Finance Practice, and four “Deal of the Year” awards.

The winning transactions are:

  • Debt and Equity-linked Deal of the Year: Cenomi Centers Sukuk refinancing
White & Case advised Arabian Centres Company (trading as Cenomi Centers), an owner, developer and operator of shopping centers in Saudi Arabia, on its SAR 4.5 billion domestic retail sukuk program and inaugural SAR 2.05 billion issuance. This transaction marks one of the largest retail sukuk issuances by a Saudi corporate and positions Cenomi Centers as a leading player in the Kingdom’s retail sector.
  • Domestic Deal of the Year: Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company RMBS sukuk
White & Case advised Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company (SRC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund and Saudi Arabia’s sole provider of real estate refinancing and liquidity solutions, on the Kingdom’s first-ever issuance of residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS). White & Case supported SRC, as sponsor, on the transaction from structuring through to completion, working alongside HSBC as financial adviser.
  • Project Finance Deal of the Year: ACWA Power / Badeel / SAPCO 12 GW renewable portfolio
White & Case advised five joint-venture project companies owned by ACWA Power, Badeel and Saudi Aramco Power Company on a multibillion-dollar financing for five Saudi solar projects with a combined capacity of 12,000 MW. The five projects, located across the Asir, Madinah, Makkah and Riyadh provinces, are expected to begin operating by 2028. They will supply clean electricity to the Saudi Power Procurement Company under long-term power purchase agreements and support Saudi Arabia’s National Renewable Energy Program.
  • Impact Deal of the Year: Binghatti sukuk program
White & Case advised Binghatti Holding on establishing its US$1.5 billion trust certificate program and issuing its inaugural US$500 million trust certificates. The program establishes Binghatti’s own issuance platform, providing greater flexibility to access long-term funding and negotiate pricing. The certificates were listed on the London Stock Exchange International Securities Market and on Nasdaq Dubai.
