For the first half of 2022, global law firm White & Case LLP was the number 1 international firm advising on mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transactions in Latin America, according to Refinitiv's league tables for H1 2022. The firm was ranked as number 1 international firm for advising on nearly US$18 billion in transactions. White & Case holds a 30.8% market share in Latin American M&A, according to Refinitiv's report.
Refinitiv also ranked White & Case the top international firm advising on M&A in Brazil alone, for advising on transactions totaling nearly US$13 billion. White & Case holds a 36.8% market share for M&A advising in Brazil, according to Refinitiv.
"Refinitiv’s report cements White & Case's position as the most active, most successful international law firms serving clients in Latin America," said Latin America Interest Group Head Carlos Viana (Miami).
