The exponential growth in demand for computing power, cloud processing, and storage, driven by the rise of AI, places a huge emphasis on data centers. French public authorities have set a clear objective to encourage the establishment of data centers on national territory to preserve France's digital sovereignty in the face of extraterritoriality risks. This article aims to provide an overview of French regulations, which must be analyzed by each data center stakeholder.
