White & Case advises Almarai Company on update of US$2 billion Trust Certificate Issuance Programme and issuance of US$500 million Trust Certificates

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Almarai Company on the update of its US$2 billion Trust Certificate Issuance Programme and on the issuance of US$500 million Trust Certificates due 2030 thereunder.

"The White & Case team advised Almarai on a return to the Reg S capital markets that represents strong investor confidence in the company and a successful return to the sukuk market," said White & Case partner Debashis Dey, who led the Firm's deal team.

The Trust Certificates were issued by Almarai Sukuk Ltd., a special purpose vehicle incorporated in the Cayman Islands, and admitted to trading on Euronext Dublin.

The White & Case team that advised on the transaction was led by partner Debashis Dey (Dubai & London) and included local partner Marcin Zawadzki (Dubai) and associates Amir Mehdizadeh Iranpour and Patrick Chindo (both Dubai).
