Biography

Amir Mehdizadeh Iranpour is an associate in the Firm's capital markets group in Dubai. Amir specialises in conventional and Islamic debt capital markets and represents corporates and financial institutions. He has experience in advising both issuers and managers.

Binghatti Holding on the establishment of a new AAOIFI-compliant Ijara-Murabaha US$1.5 billion sukuk issuance programme of Binghatti Sukuk 2 SPV Limited and a debut issuance in August 2025 of US$500 million trust certificates thereunder.

Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Emirates NBD Bank (P.J.S.C.), First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC, HSBC Bank plc and Standard Chartered Bank on the establishment of a new AAOIFI-compliant US$1.5 billion sukuk issuance programme of National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) and the joint lead managers on the debut issuance of US$700 million Green Certificates thereunder.

Citigroup Global Markets Limited on a private placement of US$100 million of Blue Notes for DP World Limited.

Arrangers and Dealers on the 2024 and 2026 update of The Arab Energy Fund's (APICORP's) Reg S/Rule 144A Global Medium Term Note Programme and Trust Certificate Issuance Programme and subsequent drawdowns.

Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company on:

  • on the first-ever issuance of residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia;
  • the establishment of its U.S.$5 billion international trust certificate (sukuk) programme, and debut issuances of U.S.2 billion trust certificates thereunder (2025)
  • the updates of its SAR 30 billion domestic sukuk issuance programme and issuances of sukuk thereunder.
