White & Case advises Apollo on US$1.2 billion convertible preferred equity investment in QXO

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE: APO) (Apollo) on a US$1.2 billion investment in QXO, Inc. (NYSE: QXO) (QXO) by Apollo and certain other investors through a new series of convertible perpetual preferred stock.

The investment further strengthens QXO's financial flexibility in pursuing acquisition opportunities. QXO is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing and complementary building products in North America.

The White & Case team was led by Finance partner Brenda Dieck (Los Angeles) and Capital Markets partners Drew Valentine and Daniel Nam (both in New York), and included Tax partner David Dreier (New York) and counsel Chris Ohlgart (Chicago); Capital Markets associate Brian Munsie (New York); and Debt Finance counsel Sean Zoltek and associate Tanner Burnette (both in Los Angeles).
