Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Atman, a Poland-based data center provider, and its major shareholder Global Compute Infrastructure on an approximately €316 million development financing.

"We have advised Atman and Global Compute Infrastructure on this significant expansion deal, which marks a milestone for Atman," said White & Case partner James Dodsworth. "Our team's extensive experience in cross-border transactions in the data center space played an important role in realising a successful outcome for our client."

The financing was provided by six financial institutions from Poland and Europe, including Bank Pekao S.A., ING Polska, Kommunalkredit Austria AG, mBank S.A. and PZU Group.

The financing will fund the expansion and development of new data center facilities in Poland, bolstering Atman's position in the European market and allowing the company to better serve its growing customer base and capitalise on emerging opportunities in the region. In doing so it is expected to create new job opportunities and contribute to the overall growth of the region's digital economy. The financing also places great emphasis on the energy efficiency and corporate sustainability aspects of Atman's operations.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Lisa Seifman (London), Grzegorz Abram and Rafal Kaminski (Warsaw) and included partner Will Smith (London), counsel Grzegorz Jukiel (Warsaw) and associates Kady Cochrane, Sam Kaye, Ross Power (all London), Joanna Misztal-Dzitko, Roksana Kałużna-Bałazy, and Marlena Skowrońska (all Warsaw).
