Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised ABN AMRO and Berenberg, acting as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners, and Kempen & Co, acting as Co-Bookrunner, on the €250 million initial public offering (IPO) by ESG Core Investments, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) focused on the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) space.
ESG Core Investments's shares have been listed on the regulated market of Euronext Amsterdam.
The transaction is the first European SPAC to list this year and follows the successful listing on Euronext Paris of French SPAC 2MX Organic in December, the largest European SPAC in 2020, which White & Case also advised on.
ESG Core Investments aims to acquire a majority stake in a European ESG-focused company within 24 months of the IPO. It is sponsored by Infestos Sustainability, a company with a strong proven track-record of investing in sustainable industries.
The White & Case team in Paris that advised on the transaction included partners Max Turner and Philippe Herbelin and associate Isabelle Touré-Farah.
