Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised a Spanish banking consortium on the financing of Fertiberia Group, Spain's largest fertilizer producer.
The financing is provided through a bond issue, which partially replaces existing debt, and through amendments of an existing revolving credit facility.
The White & Case team advised on all credit financing and banking matters under English, Spanish and Luxembourg law.
White & Case previously advised a consortium of banks on the acquisition financing of Fertiberia Group when it was acquired by private equity investor Triton in February 2020.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Vanessa Schürmann (Frankfurt) and included partners Fernando Navarro (Madrid), Rebecca Emory (Frankfurt) and Hadrien Servais (Brussels), local partner Daniel Rogits (Frankfurt), counsel Willem Van de Wiele (Brussels) and associates Alfonso Garcia Freire and Raquel Singla (both Madrid) and Aurelie Terlinden (Brussels).
