White & Case advises E.ON on CHF 385 million green bond issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised E.ON SE (E.ON) on the issuance of two tranches of green notes with an aggregate principal amount of CHF 385 million.

The first tranche has a principal amount of CHF 250 million, an eight-year term and a fixed coupon of 1.3025%.

The second tranche has a principal amount of CHF 135 million, a twelve-year term and a fixed coupon of 1.6174%.

E.ON will use an amount equivalent to the net proceeds of both tranches to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, new and/or existing eligible green assets and/or capital expenditures, together forming the "Eligible Green Portfolio", as set out in the issuer's Green Financing Framework.

The notes of both tranches were admitted to trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
