White & Case advises E.ON on the issuance of CHF 140 million Green Bonds

Global law firm White & Case LLP advised E.ON SE (E.ON) on the issuance of green notes with a principal amount of CHF 140 million.

The notes have a nine-year term and a fixed coupon of 1.440%.

E.ON will use an amount equivalent to the net proceeds of this issuance of notes to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, new and/or existing eligible green assets and/or capital expenditures, together forming the "Eligible Green Portfolio" as set out in the issuer's Green Financing Framework.

The notes were admitted to trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

The E.ON team was advised by the legal department through Dr. Cora Hartan.
