White & Case advises E.ON on the issuance of green bonds with an aggregate principal amount of €1.1 billion

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised E.ON International Finance B.V. (E.ON) on the issuance of two tranches of green notes with an aggregate principal amount of €1.1 billion.

The first tranche has a principal amount of €500 million, a 6-year term and a fixed coupon of 3.000%. The second tranche has a principal amount of €600 million, a 10-year term and a fixed coupon of 3.500%.

Both tranches were issued as a green bond under the Green Bond Framework of E.ON.

The notes of both tranches were admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

The E.ON-team was advised by the legal department through Cora Hartan.

The White & Case team in Frankfurt which advised on the transaction was led by partner Karsten Wöckener, local partner Peter Becker as well as associate Domenik Mack and transaction Lawyer Nejc Jereb.
