Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Finago, a Nordic business software provider majority-owned by KKR, on its agreement to acquire all shares in Regla, an Icelandic provider of cloud-based accounting, payroll and invoicing software, from Hawk Infinity.

"Supporting Finago as it expands into Iceland brings together Finago's Nordic reach and Regla's local expertise and customer relationships, and provides a strong foundation for further growth in the region," said White & Case partner Patrik Erblad, who led the Firm's deal team.

On completion, the acquisition will mark Finago's entry into Iceland and support its continued growth across the Nordics. Regla will continue to operate independently within the Finago Group, led by its current management.

The acquisition is expected to complete in November 2026.

Headquartered in Espoo, Finland, Finago is one of the largest providers of financial, people and business operations software in the Nordics. The company employs more than 950 people and generated turnover of more than €190 million in 2025.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Reykjavík, Regla provides cloud-based accounting and business software to Icelandic businesses and accounting firms. Its offering covers financial accounting, invoicing, payroll, project accounting, purchasing and point of sale.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Patrik Erblad (Stockholm/London) and included partners Henry Birch and Michael Engel (both London), and associates Rebecka Tedroff, Rebekka Lae, Simon Strömbäck, Isak Bruncevic, and Kaarlo Kyllonen (all Stockholm).
