Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised on the financing of a new strategic joint-venture between Bouygues Telecom and Vauban Infrastructure Partners, via its digital investment platform Vauban Infra Fibre, to further accelerate the deployment of optical fiber in France in medium and low density areas.

The project consists of the financing of the acquisition, management, marketing and the rental of the long-term access rights from French infrastructure operators to contribute to the co-financing of optical fiber networks in France. It will enable fiber access to approximately 20 million premises by 2027, including 4 million in medium density areas and 16 million in low density areas.

Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank acted as Original Arranger and Bookrunner, Global Coordinator, Private Placement Agent, Social Loan Coordinator, Facility Agent, Security Agent and Intercreditor Agent.
