White & Case advises Investcorp on US$195 million perpetual sukuk issuances by IVC Sukuk Limited

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Investcorp S.A. on the US$195,115,000 offering of Shari'a compliant perpetual non-cumulative capital certificates issued by IVC Sukuk Limited.

"Our team leveraged our capital markets and Islamic finance experience to work with a syndicate of banks who helped Investcorp S.A. raise funding in challenging market conditions via the use of a corporate hybrid subordinated perpetual Sukuk structure," said White & Case partner Debashis Dey, who led the Firm's deal team.

The funds raised through the offering will be used by Investcorp S.A. for its general corporate purposes.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Debashis Dey (Dubai, London) and included associates Marcin Zawadzki and Ola Sanni (both Dubai).
