
White & Case and GKC Partners advise DenizBank on US$270 million green bond issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP and GKC Partners have advised DenizBank on the issuance of US$270 million green bonds under its US$5 billion Euro Medium Term Note Programme.
"The White & Case team advised DenizBank on a landmark issuance that highlights its commitment to sustainable finance and Türkiye's climate goals," said White & Case partner Neha Saran. "This transaction brings together three international financial institutions as investors and demonstrates the role of capital markets in enabling impactful initiatives."
The transaction involves the joint participation of three international financial institutions – the International Finance Corporation, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Société de Promotion et de Participation pour la Coopération Economique.
The proceeds from the bonds will be used to finance investments which align with DenizBank's Sustainable Finance Framework whichcomplies with the International Capital Market Association's Green Bond Principles.
