White & Case and GKC Partners advise joint bookrunners on Çimko’s US$300 million debut Eurobond issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP and GKC Partners have advised joint bookrunners Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Emirates NBD Capital Ltd., HSBC Bank plc, ING Bank N.V. and BofA Securities on the Rule 144A/Reg S US$300 million debut Eurobond issuance by leading Turkish cement and ready-mix concrete producer Çimko Çimento ve Beton Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (Çimko).

"This debut issuance represents Çimko's first direct entry into international capital markets." said White & Case partner Richard Pogrel, who led the Firm's deal team. "The issuance not only optimizes Çimko's debt structure but also accelerates its commitment to energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives, reinforcing its position as a leader in sustainable cement production."

Çimko is owned by 120-year-old Turkish industrial conglomerate Sanko Holding Anonim Şirketi, which is active in many sectors with key operations in textiles, packaging, energy and cement.
