Biography
David Schoo is an associate in the Financial Services Regulatory practice in Berlin. David’s practice focuses on public commercial law with a particular emphasis on financial services regulation. His clients include banks, other financial institutions as well as government and public entities.
David has wide-ranging experience advising international and domestic banking groups on a broad range of regulatory matters relating to governance, compliance, AML, regulatory capital, and ownership control topics. He further supports clients in contentious regulatory proceedings before European Union and German courts as well as in enforcement proceedings before supervisory authorities. His work regularly involves him in issues relating to constitutional law and European Union law.
