Overview
Jan-Christopher Wilhelms is an Associate in White & Case's Global Capital Markets Practice.
Jan-Christopher advises clients on initial public offerings, rights issues and secondary offerings, cross-border high-yield and corporate bonds as well as hybrid financing instruments. Additionally, he advises on capital markets compliance and general corporate finance matters.
His clients include domestic and international issuers, underwriters, financial investors and shareholders.
Prior to joining the Firm as an Associate in 2023, Jan-Christopher gained several years of experience as a trainee lawyer and research assistant in capital markets law with White & Case as well as in corporate and capital markets law at two other major international law firms in Frankfurt.

BENTELER Group (2023)
Advised Benteler International Aktiengesellschaft on comprehensive €2.0 billion long-term financing, including with the debut issuance of two senior secured high yield bonds with volumes of €525 million and US$500 million, a syndicated loan facility of €810 million and a revolving credit facility of €250 million, as well as the release of collateral in 18 countries originally provided in connection with BENTELER Group's restructuring.
Siemens Energy (2023)
Advised a consortium of banks, led by the joint global coordinators Citigroup and Société Générale, on the €1.3 billion capital increase of Siemens Energy AG.
